Dear all,
We are looking for people to join a LAGB sub-committee focused on racial equality and social justice. Recent years have seen an increased awareness of the ways in which a range of academic disciplines and structures within which we operate (e.g. teaching practices, funding structures and publishing models) contribute to and perpetuate inequalities.
The aim of the sub-committee would be to identify ways in which the LAGB and linguistics more broadly, can work to highlight and address these inequalities.
