The last day to register for the LAGB annual meeting including accommodation and the conference dinner is Wednesday 23rd August.

The conference will be held at the University of Kent in Canterbury from 4-7 September 2017. Canterbury is just under an hour's train journey from London St Pancras and a very attractive historic city, and the university is easily accessible on foot or by bus or taxi from the city centre. There is lots of information about the venue here.

The first day (Monday 4th September) is a summer school aimed at students (to whom it is free), although anyone is welcome to attend.

Following that, the conference proper begins on Tuesday the 5th and includes a wide range of talks on various linguistic sub-disciplines, a language tutorial on Huave, a special session from the Education Committee, a special session on linguistics outreach, Wikipedia editing sessions, a workshop on synthesising approaches to language learning and adaptation, plenary lectures by Lisa Matthewson and Charles Yang, the LAGB AGM, conference dinner, and more!

You can see the full programme here (subject to change) and register here
