The UK Linguistics Olympiad is one of the Education Committee's main responsibilities, because UKLO is an offshoot of the Committee for Linguistics in Education, which is sponsored by both the LAGB and BAAL. The annual UKLO report to the LAGB is now ready at http://www.uklo.org/reports . If you're planning to attend the LAGB AGM on Friday, please try to look at this report beforehand, because we have been assigned a ten-minute slot to introduce a discussion of how the LAGB can support UKLO.
