The Department of Linguistics at SOAS University of London, is pleased to announce its third Linguistics Research Student Conference, which will take place on 4th June 2016. This year there will also be a workshop before the conference, on 3rd June. The theme of the workshop is 'Methodology, Methods and Data Collection in Language Documentation and Description'. The plenary speaker for the conference and workshop will be Dr Alex King, University of Aberdeen.

The conference and workshop are organised by postgraduate research students in the Department of Linguistics. We warmly welcome research students from all faculties and centres across the UK to participate.
