    The Division of Linguistics and English Language of the University of Manchester is supporting applications to the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme:

    The scheme offers three years' postdoctoral funding to applicants who either have a doctorate from a British University or are citizens of the United Kingdom or an European Economic Area country. Candidates must have passed the viva voce examination for their PhD between 1 April 2013 and 1 April 2016.

    Expressions of interest are invited from potential applicants by Monday 14 September 2015. Potential applicants should e-mail Dr Ricardo Bermúdez-Otero, Research Coordinator of the Division of Linguistics and English Language, at r.bermudez-otero@manchester.ac.uk. Expressions of interest should be supported by the following documents:

    • A one-page CV,
    • project title,
    • 100-word abstract,
    • project description (max. 2 sides of A4).

    Applicants will be informed by Monday 21 September 2015 whether or not their applications will be supported.
