The School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics at Newcastle University is pleased to announce the launch of its Master’s School Bursary competition for September 2015 entry. We are offering six bursaries, worth £12,000 each (full fees and maintenance), and all bursary holders will also be mentored towards developing doctoral applications.

Bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis to applicants who, at the time of applying, have accepted an offer of a place on one of the following programmes in linguistics/English language:

MLitt (Masters by Research) in Linguistics

MA in Linguistics

The deadline for application is *5pm on 25 June 2015*. The outcome of the application will be announced by the end of July.
