    UKLVC 10 Call for Papers

The 10th UK Language Variation and Change (UKLVC) conference will take place from 1st–3rd September 2015, at the University of York, UK. Confirmed keynote speakers are Ghada Khattab, Lesley Milroy, Benedikt Szmrecsányi and Andrew Wedel.

UKLVC is a biennial conference which provides a regular forum in the UK for the presentation and discussion of recent research in language variation & change, sociolinguistics, dialectology, and applications of these branches of linguistics to fields such as language pedagogy and forensic speech analysis. Theoretical and methodological contributions are diverse, with variability in language centre stage. Research focuses on all levels of linguistic structure (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse, pragmatics) and a wide range of languages.
