    Hello linguists!

We are conducting a survey aimed at anyone who is teaching a course on syntax (broadly construed), or who has taught such a course in the past. We would be most appreciative if you could take the survey (20-30 minutes) and forward it to any friends or colleagues who would also be eligible to take it.

This survey is part of the SynTeach project, a large multi-year, multi-national investigation into the teaching and learning of syntax in HE, led by Bronwyn Bjorkman, Laura Bailey, Kirby Conrod, and Caitl Light. For this phase of the project, we are focusing on the attitudes, experiences, and practices of syntax instructors. In future phases, we will also be surveying and interviewing syntax students about their experiences, attitudes, and learning outcomes.

If you would like to receive updates when we have results, papers/presentations, or future surveys, you can also sign up for our email list. We send out emails infrequently, but this is the best way to be informed of when we are collecting new data or presenting results generally. The link to sign up to the mailing list is here: https://bit.ly/synteachlist

Thank you very much for your time and participation!

SynTeach Team (Kirby, Bronwyn, Caitl, and Laura)
