Getting to University of York
The University of York campus is located in Heslington, a 35-40 minute walk or 20 minute bus ride from the rail station and city centre.
Useful maps are available here.
If you are travelling to York from within the UK, check national rail inquiries for train times and prices. It is often cheaper to reserve tickets in advance and select a specific travel time.
If you are travelling from overseas, you could travel to London and then take a train to York but it might be cheaper to travel to Manchester or Edinburgh and travel from there by train.
