The University Council of General and Applied Linguistics (UCGAL) will be holding an open meeting about Linguistics in REF2021. The chairs of four sub-panels – Modern Languages & Linguistics, Area Studies, Education, and English Language & Literature – will be present to give information and answer questions.

The meeting will be held on Monday 17^th December 2018 at the University of Birmingham. All members of UCGAL affiliates are invited to attend. The event is free, but there will be a registration procedure and details of this will be sent nearer the time. You are also invited to send questions for the speakers ahead of time to Susan Hunston (s.e.hunston@bham.ac.uk).
