I thought members might be interested to know that the Cheltenham Science Festival is soliciting idea for events at next year's Festival. It would be great to have a number of events on language and linguistics at the Festival. I gave one last year and it was well attended and a lot of fun, and the LAGB committee are thinking of some possibilities for the coming Festival.
