ULAB2: The second annual conference of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain.
UWE (University of the West of England), Bristol
April 14-15 2012 (pre-conference social on 13 April)
Hosted by UWE LingSoc and ULAB
Invited Speakers: Prof. David Crystal
There is one week left to submit abstracts for papers to present at ULAB2; the deadline being 26 February 2012.
The ULAB annual conference is an opportunity to celebrate the strength of undergraduate research in language science in the UK, whether ongoing or completed; it is a great opportunity to network with the UK's next generation of linguists and language researchers.
All are welcome to attend, whether undergrad, postgrad, postdoc, professor or anyone with an interest in undergraduate research in linguistics & English language.
Abstract submissions are required to cover work/research undertaken as an undergraduate, whether assessed (e.g. a dissertation) or extracurricular (e.g. personal project). It is possible that this work may have continued in to postgraduate research but the emphasis should be on that completed whilst an undergrad.
Registration to attend will be open beyond the abstract submission deadline. Submission is not required in order to attend.
Thanks,
Dave Arnold
