The 2013 Annual Meeting of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain will take place on 28 - 31 August 2013 at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London.

The Linguistics Association of Great Britain intends to award the Anna Siewierska Prize 2013 for the best essay by a student or recent graduate on a topic in linguistics.

The value of the prize is £500. The winning entry will be posted on the LAGB’s website and will be forwarded by the committee with their endorsement to the Journal of Linguistics.

The closing date is 1 November 2013.
