The Department of Linguistics and English Language of the
University of Manchester welcomes applications for the
Montfollick Studentship in Linguistics.

This award is open to UK or EU applicants who meet the
criteria of the studentship and have been accepted onto the
PhD Linguistics programme at Manchester. Preference will be 
given to projects on Comparative Philology or Historical
Linguistics. This is a fully funded award, covering fees and
maintenance.

The closing date for receipt of the Funding Application Form
is Friday 13 April 2012. To ensure that they have been
accepted into the PhD programme by this date, candidates
are advised to apply for admission on line no later than
Friday 30 March 2012.
