The project involves the joined supervision by the Universities of Greenwich and Groningen and will lead to a double degree. The successful applicant will conduct research for a project on the second language acquisition of Spanish past tense forms by native speakers of English and Dutch, focusing on phenomena interfacing between grammar and other modules of the mind. The project includes a theoretical and an empirical dimension whereby the candidate will gain training in offline and online psycholinguistic methods.
