The Division of Linguistics and English Language of the University of Manchester is supporting applications to the British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship scheme:

The scheme offers three years' postdoctoral funding to applicants who either have a doctorate from a British University or are citizens of the United Kingdom or an European Economic Area country. Candidates must have passed the viva voce examination for their PhD between 1 April 2014 and 1 April 2017.
Expressions of interest are invited from potential applicants by Thursday 1 September 2016. Potential applicants should e-mail Professor John Payne, Research Coordinator of the Division of Linguistics and English Language, at John.Payne@manchester.ac.uk. Expressions of interest should be supported by the following documents:
• A one-page CV,
• project title,
• abstract (max. 1100 characters)
• previous research (max. 3000 characters)
• proposed programme (max. 8000 characters)
• plan of action and timescale (max. 3000 characters)
• plans for publication and dissemination (max. 3000 characters)
