The LAGB have received a request from the CNN International website in London:

"I’m writing an article on the language of questions – pegged to the somewhat confusing language of the Greek referendum taking place this weekend.

I wondered if the Linguistics Association could suggest an academic to approach for information on how best to ask a question. For example: Do you keep it simple? Is there a science to it? If the question is complicated then does it make it less neutral? Are there lessons to be learnt from Greece for the UK referendum when it takes place?"
