A number of PhD Studentships are currently being offered at Middlesex University (the deadline is close: 14th March). See further information below.

The range covered is very broad but includes 'Language and writing: creative writing, language and linguistics'. Applications in areas of linguistics (including language gender, pragmatics, stylistics, semiotics, media communication) would be very welcome. Competition will be tough, of course.

I'd be very happy to respond to any informal enquiries about the studentships. If you'd like to ask me anything, you can contact me at:

    b.clark@mdx.ac.uk

    Best wishes,

    Billy
