1st UCL Graduate Conference in Linguistics

    Dear all,

    This is to inform you that the 1st UCL Graduate Conference in Linguistics will take place on the 7th and 8th of November in Chandler House (2 Wakefield Street, London, WC1N 1PF)

    The programme will consist of oral and poster presentations from graduate students coming from UK and foreign universities. In addition, there will be two invited talks:

    Prof. Deirdre Wilson (CSMN; UCL): Communication and Speaker’s Meaning: What’s the difference, and does it matter?
    Prof. David Adger (Queen Mary, University of London): Root-based structure-building; category-based structure-labelling.
