Hi all! The SynTeach team (Laura Bailey, Bronwyn Bjorkman, Caitl Light, Kirby Conrod) is now in the next phase of research on how syntax is taught in HE. This phase is focus group interviews, where we want to get together people with experience teaching and learning syntax.
We’re hoping to gather people with a variety of experiences, so whether you loved or hated syntax, we’d really like to hear from you! This link is to an interest form – if you’d like us to contact you when we start the interviews, you can let us know here. Please also feel free to share with anyone you know who has taken or taught syntax. Filling out this form is not a commitment, it’s just a way of letting us know you might be interested!

We've already begun interviewing, and we’ll continue through the autumn and winter. (If we can, we’ll also see about trying to coordinate group interviews at conferences we’re attending in fall/winter, so keep an eye out for that as well.)
