At short notice following a successful funding bid, the English Language and Linguistics team at Northumbria University are looking for teaching cover for two BA modules in semester one of the coming academic year.

The modules are:

Understanding English Grammar (22 hours of teaching):

The first semester of a year-long level 4 module introducing concepts and analysis in phonology, morphology and grammar.

History of English (33 hours of teaching):

A semester-long level 5 module focusing on the historical context of present-day English and the processes involved in language change.

With teaching and holiday factors, the total hourly rates are £58.99 for teaching and £24.69 for marking
