The LAGB sub-committee for race and social justice in linguistics would like to invite you to suggest people to speak at our new online seminar series, to begin Autumn 2024. It is provisionally entitled ‘Activism in Progress’. 

You can self-nominate or suggest someone else. No one is too junior (or senior!), and the work can be very early stages, thoughts on a possible project, recent research, policy issues, or anything at all that is related to our goals. The general area of interest is the UK linguistics context, but of course ideas of people from other regions would be welcome too if the work is relevant.
