Full Summer School Description: |
ACTL (Advanced Core Training in Linguistics) is a graduate level training program in theoretical linguistics. ACTL was founded in 2004 and is currently co-sponsored by Cambridge University, Oxford University, the University of Essex, the University of Kent, Queen Mary University of London, SOAS, and UCL.ACTL organizes and coordinates a training program for Ph.D. students in Linguistics in the Southeast of England.
We are proud to announce the first ACTL summer school in linguistics, which will run June 24-28, 2013 on the premises of the linguistics department at UCL. The program has a primary focus on the syntax, semantics, and morpho-phonolgy of phi features. There will also be a course on what the study of ellipsis can tell us about the architecture of the grammar.
The school is open to the general linguistic public. |

Participation is free for Ph.D. students in linguistics from sponsoring institutions. All other participants contribute £100 towards the running of the school. |
