The University of Leeds is delighted to announce the hosting of the Fourth International Symposium on Chinese Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (ISOCTAL-4) on 20-21 June 2022 in a hybrid zoom and in-person mode. An ISOCTAL, a bi-annual winter event, is planned for this summer due to the pandemic. It continues to be a high platform for frontline research in Chinese theoretical and applied linguistics, a promotion channel for global collaboration and a network for future development and innovation.
ISOCTAL-4 is sponsored by the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies, the University of Leeds and the Business Confucius Institute at the University of Leeds. The Organising Committee, headed by Dr Clare Wright, welcomes abstract contributions from a wide range of Chinese linguistic, educational and social perspectives.
The deadline for abstract submission is 6th May. Abstract acceptance or rejection will be notified on 20th May. For more details, please refer to https://www.isoctal.com or email unileeds@isoctal.com.
