The School of Humanities, Languages and Social Sciences, University of Salford is seeking a suitably qualified individual for a fixed-term, one-year lectureship in linguistics beginning in September 2012. This post has arisen as a result of the award of a major Research Fellowship to Professor Diane Blakemore by The Leverhulme Trust.
The successful applicant will have an established or emerging research profile in linguistics, as well as teaching expertise in syntax. He or she will be able to teach modules in English morphology and syntax, syntactic theory, and general linguistics at all levels from first-year undergraduate to Masters level and to supervise Masters dissertations in these areas.
