Venue
The conference will be held on the Peel Park Campus of the University of Salford, Manchester. The City of Salford adjoins central Manchester and is famous as the home of the artist L. S. Lowry, the Imperial War Museum North, 16th Century Ordsall Hall and MediaCityUK at Salford Quays. Manchester itself is one of Britain's most dynamic cities, famous for its music culture, football teams, universities and exciting nightlife. The city boasts world-class galleries and museums, excellent shopping opportunities, and restaurants, pubs and bars to suit every taste.

Accommodation
Accommodation will be available in the very centre of Manchester, close to Manchester Oxford Road station, a six-minute train ride (or 30-minute walk) from the University of Salford campus. Further details will be provided in the second circular.
Travel
Manchester and the University of Salford are easily reached by road, rail or air, with direct connections from Manchester to most major cities in the UK. Salford Crescent station (on the University campus) is a 10 minute train ride from Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria train stations, or can be reached by a short taxi ride from the city centre. Manchester's ring road connects the city to motorways to the north, south, east and west. Manchester Airport is a 15-minute train ride from Manchester city centre. From the airport, direct trains to the University of Salford (Salford Crescent station) run every 30 minutes; the average journey time is 30 minutes.
