Registration for the LAGB Annual Meeting 2013 can be made using the REGISTER button in the UPCOMING EVENTS box at the foot of this page until 23 August 2013.

When prompted, LAGB members (including bursary recipients) should log-in or provide the email address they have given to the LAGB to allow access to discounted rates (or the bursary acceptance form). Bursary recipients will also need the access code that was sent to them when they were notified of their award.

Registration options

Please note that the early registration deadline is Sunday 11 August 2013 after which a surcharge will be added to the fee. For instance, the full conference fee after this date will be £170 for members and £205 for non-members. Online registration closes on Friday 23rd August 2012. Refunds will not be possible after this date.

Before 12 August, the full package, including the conference fee, lunch and refreshments on four days (Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat) costs £150 for LAGB members and £190 for non-­members. 

The same package including the conference dinner costs £185 for LAGB members and £225 for non-­members.
The conference dinner will be held at the Salaam Namaste restaurant (within 10 minutes walk of SOAS) on Friday 30 August. Further details on the venue and menu options will be available soon.

It is also possible to book for selected days at a cost of £45 per day for LAGB members and £55 per day for non-members. Accommodation, evening meals and the conference dinner are not included in this fee. 

A variety of packages are on offer to suit the requirements of the participants at the conference. Please read the options carefully to ensure you have selected the correct option:
  • LAGB members should choose an option from 01-15
  • Bursary recipients should choose an option from 16-17
  • Non-members should choose an option from 18-32

Automatic membership for non-members

Registration for the full package by non-­members includes automatic LAGB membership until January 2015 for waged delegates (15 months membership) and membership until January 2016 for unwaged delegates (27 months membership). Memberships will be activated by the end of September 2013. Members will receive an e-mail notification to confirm that their membership has been activated. This offer is not available to non-members registering for a period shorter than the whole conference.

Payment confirmation and attendance certification

Once you have registered for the conference and made your on-­line payment, you will receive an automated e-mail confirming your registration and payment. Please note that this e-mail constitutes your receipt. No further copies will be issued later on. If you require a certificate of attendance, please notify the attendants at the registration desk when picking up your conference pack.
