The Department of Italian at University College London is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 3-year-long fully-funded AHRC doctoral studentship to commence in September 2012.
The studentship can be used for doctoral research in Generative Linguistics (Syntax) amongst other subject areas covered in the department.
Applicants must be British citizens (eligible for fees and maintenance) or EU citizens (eligible for fees, but eligible for maintenance only if they have resided continuously in the UK, without at any point being in full-time education, for more than three years). Applicants from non-EU countries are not eligible.
The deadline is 1 February 2012. You must complete the UCL procedure for admission as a research student to be eligible for the competition for the AHRC studentship. Applications received after the above deadline will still be considered for acceptance to the departmental PhD programme but will be ineligible for AHRC funding.
