As you have no doubt heard, the deadline for submission to the REF has been postponed due to the effects of coronavirus. Research England are now starting to consider issues in relation to a new deadline, and to the possible impact of Covid-19 on the preparation of impact case studies.

A short consultation has been issued covering these points only, supported by a webinar (slides and a recording of which are available here).

Additionally, the University Council of General and Applied Linguistics (UCGAL) has been asked (as a learned society) to provide feedback on behalf of academics within the field of General and Applied Linguistics in the UK, including LAGB members.
