Save Linguistics at Huddersfield!

Many of you will unfortunately already be aware of the proposed closure of linguistics—with redundancies for relevant staff—at the University of Huddersfield.

I have written a letter—joining many that have been written by the representatives or organisations all round the UK—to the Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor, expressing shock and deep concern at this move and urging that it be reversed. You can find a copy of the letter in the "Policy Documents" section of the website.

If you have not done so already, please consider adding your signature to the petition to save Linguistics at Huddersfield. There is also an open letter to which you can add your signature.
