Earlier in 2021, the AHRC launched an EDI statement and action plan with a commitment to ensure that EDI is embedded both at all levels of the organisation and in the portfolio of research that they fund and support. A key objective of this recruitment exercise is to further diversity their membership and cement plurality of voices in the decision-making processes.
Applications across the AHRC's disciplinary remit are strongly encouraged from persons who identify as an ethnic minority, persons with disabilities, persons of diverse gender identities and expressions, and persons identifying with other groups who are currently underrepresented.
Applications are also encouraged from people with specific arts and humanities-relevant professional experience and expertise that is currently underrepresented on our College; a full list can be found in the call document.
Further details, including the call document and SurveyMonkey application form, can be found on their website: Peer Review - Arts and Humanities Research Council (ukri.org)
Members of the LAGB are encouraged to apply. If you have any questions, the PRC team will be happy to answer at peerreviewcollege@ahrc.ukri.org.
