LAGB Meeting 2020

The 2020 Annual Meeting of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain has been cancelled due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic. We very much regret losing this opportunity to get together to exchange new ideas and to meet each other face-to-face, and we are sorry for work that you may already have put in to abstract writing.

The Ulster University organisers are already looking forward to hosting you at a particularly splendid meeting in the autumn of 2021. For now, the conference organisers and the entire LAGB committee all hope that you are coming up with ways of coping with the current upheavals, wherever you are, and finding strength in the wonderful community of linguists throughout the UK and all around the world.

General information

The LAGB now holds one 4-day meeting per year in early September. Information about the precise deadline for submission of abstracts is sent out with the first circular/call for papers, but in general the deadline for abstract submission will be during March or April. Authors may submit up to two abstracts for review, of which at most one may be single-authored.
